World Premiere Opera: River of Time
UK Opera Theatre presents a new American Folk Opera about Abraham Lincoln as a young man, with lyrics and music by Kentuckians James W. Rodgers and Joseph Baber. The poignant lyrics and expressive orchestration convey the story of Lincoln on a quest of self-discovery and personal destiny, a prologue to greatness. From his boyhood days in Kentucky, this opera takes the audience on a journey through the formative years of one of our nation's greatest presidents.
